Our house burned down last night and everything is gone. We are ok but trying to figure everything out. I may not be on for a while.

We are doing ok. The house is a total loss but we have been in the process of having a modular home built since Florence came through. We couldn't find our cat and that is what is the most upsetting.

OMG.  I am so sorry.  I am glad that you are OK.  What happened?  My older brothers house burned down once.  Clear to the ground.  Fortunately he sold insurance for a living , and was well insured, and was able to rebuild.  He needed new furniture anyway.  Always the silver lining.

I am so sorry.  May you find a wonderful happy place to move to and may that house always stands up and never burns to the ground.

OMG.  I'm so, so, sorry to hear that.  Good to know you're all safe at least.  I hope you all are able to get resettled soon and well.  Damn, that sucks.  Hang in there.  Don't let the insurance company under-pay you.  We're wishing you all the best over the coming weeks, months...

Oh my goodness, so sorry to hear that, Born...!!  I wish you all luck in getting settled and getting into a safe and sound place. That is one of my greatest fears.  Thank God you are all alright, that's what counts most of all. My prayers are with you!
