You took the time to join this site. You clearly view the questions on this place. So why do you scuttle about in the background?

Tell us why you're here and what type of question you are looking for, or suggest improvements.

Come out of the shadows, join us in talking piss at times if that's your thing,

We also have members who have years of experience in various skill sets like teaching, senior management in retail, law, policing and horse husbandry.

Or you may just enjoy a laugh or two.

This site isn't full up, there is loads of space for all of you. Go for it, I dare you xx

Two things. People are lazy. And they're supposed to be working. Or they're a bit thick and don't know the answer to the question. I've seen at least two former regs of AO admit they are on here. People are also just a bit nosey and are not interested in helping others out with advice. You've also got people who don't want you to know they're on here. I'm guessing some don't want their ass to be slammed for contributing.

I agree with half of that however, there are some people who post the same thing with the same subject that gets there ass slammed as you say. Then there are those that post the same thing over and over again that don't.

I'm guessing these inconsistencies may have something to do with it.

I'm rather hit or miss with being on this site.  I'll be on regularly for spurts and then busy with other things for weeks or months at a time and not around.  When I'm around I generally reply to posts much more than create my own.

It's a community that has been around for quite some time. Not as many drop by and interact as in past times, but people are still around in one way or another.

Possibly a self fulfilling prophecy. The board is in dire straights therefore no one is participating, however, participating would liven up the board  for everyone.

Such a shame
